Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- The submission has not been previously published, nor it is not under consideration for publication elsewhere. If accepted, it will not be published elsewhere in another language.
- The submission file is in Open Office, Microsoft Word, or in an editable document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references (including DOI) have been provided.
- The manuscript has been 'spell checked' and 'grammar checked'; and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end and properly cited in the context.
- All references mentioned in the Reference List are cited in the text, and vice versa. The manuscript adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- A competing interests statement is provided at the end of the article, even if the authors have no competing interests to declare.
